The most expensive sale of a falcon in the history of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition.
At the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), a rare Pure Gyr ultra-white falcon was recently sold for Dh1 million (approximately $275,000), marking the highest-priced falcon sale in the event's history.
This remarkable sale has generated significant anticipation for this year's falcon auction. Organized by the Emirates Falconers’ Club, the exhibition will span seven days starting from September 2 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), promising novel surprises and features to enhance the auction experience.
The upcoming auction at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) will feature six categories of captive-bred falcons, including Pure Gyr, Pure Gyr male, and Pure Saker, sourced from both local and international farms. Additionally, competitions will take place to determine the finest captive-bred falcons and the top choices among rare falcons.
